“ Really nice people working here and great local ingredients. Many of the dishes were a bit too innovative though, to the point that it wasn’t quite delicious and was just different, if that makes sense. The basics were great — caprese, salumi — but the seafood gnocchi was way too salty and the octopus with lentils a bit bland and rubbery. Maybe we just ordered seafood too far from the sea! Great local wine list though, and friendly! ”

“ We had a wonderful dinner at Giardini 36! A bit off the beaten path, a perfect setting. The people who welcomed us were incredibly kind, giving us great recommendations and offerring chalks to our daughters so they can draw on the wall. But more importantly, each dish was better than the other (with perfect wine pairings, which was super nice compared to other places who simply offered ok wine by the glass). Dishes were so tasty, wonderfully executed, with beautiful ingredients and lots of talent. We loved every bite. Even our daughter said “can we live in Italy forever?”. They also loved the yummy bread and focaccia, dipped in delicious olive oil :) Thanks for having us! ”
